What a difference four days makes.  On Tuesday Brian & I had limits including lings with several fish released.  Today all Brian could manage was two Black Rockfish.  I had eight and one Greenling.  The ocean was ugly.  Two other kayaks launched about 20 minutes ahead of us.  They lasted about a half hour before coming back in.  We stayed out for about three hours playing "dodge the whales".  I've been hit by a whale before so I'm always a little nervous around them.

What the heck is this thing?

“What is this?” Wish I knew, I caught one at Tillamook jetty a couple weeks ago and posted with same question.  They don’t fight much after their first big tug.
