Thanks for the input. In looking at my suit and lil Cos's suit, I noticed a small tear in one of his wrist gaskets.  I ordered two gaskets, and the $27 wrist and ankle tool.  I figured it was easier than trying to find the right size jar, PVC Pipe, etc, and I would get some mileage out of it for several years.  The YouTube videos look pretty easy.

I also watched a few videos on the pressure test, and it looks like I can do the same thing by turning the suit inside out and filling the lower half with water, and see if anything comes shooting out.  Lots of gortex patch options, and since the patch will be on the inside, I really don't care how it looks, as long as the patch is smooth.

One other way to do the leak test is to take your suit( turned inside out) into a dark room,  put a really bright flashlight/headlamp inside the suit and look on the outside for the pinhole light spots, mark them with a felt pen, then repair.  It may not get the micro-holes but this method will get most.

and no obstacle should be placed in their path;
let them take risk, for God sake, let them get lost, sun burnt, stranded, drowned,
eaten by bears, buried alive under avalanches -
that is the right and privilege of any free American."

Thanks.  I like the light tip.  I will give that a shot first.

The pressure test/patch is now $40, and I think the wrist gasket replacement is around 45.  This is where you hope they find some delam on your suit and offer to replace it or let you upgrade.  Loving my gore Tex upgrade!

Yup! Kokatat replaced my 8 year old Goretex drysuit with a brand new one 2 years ago due to a delamination issue.  I felt a little guilty about winning that lottery, but I am over it and enjoying my new drysuit.

My wrist gaskets and kit arrived today. first one is setting up now.  The PVC kit made it pretty easy to get the gasket on and clamp snug while the goop is curing for the next 12 hours.
