Has anyone fished the hatchery area for chum? WDFW says  easy 2-fish limits.  Where does one launch?

I was there on foot last Saturday to experience it, caught a few but it was like shooting fish in a barrel, no skill needed!  There were also a bunch of boats very close into shore on the left side of the hatchery (as you look out to the water) and one kayak there trying stay between the boats, saw him get a couple.  There was another kayak but he decided to just beach it instead of trying to deal with the other boats.

I don't think you can launch near the hatchery, at least I didn't see anything obvious, maybe from where the kid in this video did (), Ingvald J Gronvold park?

4 fish limit. Most people launch at the park just south of the hatchery, which might involve carrying a kayak down stairs. Can launch in Potlatch, or lilliwaup both involve multiple miles by water.

Kevin, I launchd at the park across from the Grocery Store.  You should be able to get your Outback down the stairs.  My 2019 was a little wider but you can squeeze.  Doable with sand tires.  Easy peddle to the hatchery.  Jim Davis is over there this weekend.  You'll see him trying to score a few AOTY points.

I had assumed it was okay, but I simply rolled my kayak down the ramp and onto the public dock at the same park and launched from the dock.  It was pretty tricky when the waves were rolling, but a piece of cake in calm water.  Outhouses across the street are convenient too.
