Hmmmm... That Yak Gear Manta Ray seat looks mighty nice for that price! I see a "shopping accident" happening...

How do 'shopping accidents' happen? Does it involve tripping and falling? Like I tripped and fell over this revo13...and the only way to get up was to pay for it outright.  >:D

Not yet man, hopefully in a couple of months if I'm able to sell my guns and save enough tips I'll be able to buy the Revo. It won't be on accident though!

Well Chris.... This one time at Wall Mart I did run my shopping cart into someone else and it wasn’t pretty. But that’s not what I'm talking about.. I'll admit it that "accident" was my fault because I wasn't exactly looking where I was going, because you know there are inhabitants there that defy all levels of tact and decency in their appearance.

No, this kind of accident borders along the line ofIdentity Theft. Sometimes this kayak fishing gear just shows up at my door step from time to time.! It's kinda freaky- just like how the banner on this site know what I've been looking at! As if somehow items “accidentally” fell right into my shopping cart. I remember being on the Yak Gear website, but there is this "accidental" usage of my credit card or PayPal account for certain items I was looking at online! I opened and Amazon Prime account and stuff shows up from them a lot too! I know for a FACT when I subscribed, they told me they would just automatically bill my credit card.

Then there is the inevitable query from any family members that sees a package on the doorstep... "Whadja' get? More fishn stuff???" How do you explain to someone else that doesn't kayak fish that you really "NEED" a backup second set of lip grippers? Now I just say “shopping accident”.

Now my wife is on to me. Now she has them occasionally too. ::)

You know you have a problem when the UPS guys greets you regularly with, "Hey Allen, more fishing stuff for you".

The only "problem" I'd have with that is the UPS guy calling me Allen.
My wife thinks fishing is merely guys wandering around like idiots swinging sticks in the air. Many of my trips prove how smart she really is.

I think I smell what you're stepping in, Erik.
I have a different tactic...I just talk my girlfriends ear off about things I need and she gets to the point where she tells me to buy it so I'll shut up about it. I really don't need her permission or approval but if she insists that a buy new gear...who am I not to listen to her?  >:D
