Arrived at PC about 6:00am. Trolled west out to 100-120' water, with a herring, about 40' deep. After about an hour got this salmon, and then 20 minutes later got a large and feisty Black Rockfish. No other hits but I don't care, got my salmon!  I can now get a NWKA t-shirt, promised myself I was not going to get one till I caught a salmon.

Excellent salmon Helium Head. You can't ask for a beater eating first yak salmon than one that was still feeding. Way to go and I'm sure there will be lot's more for you in the future.

nice fish, starting to sound like there's more coho, wild and hatchery, out there than expected...

does anyone know if the PC coho are Columbia River fish that loop back to the north or do they keep heading south down the coast?
