Here's an outfit in Seward, AK that I'm seriously contemplating doing a trip with next summer.

http://www.liquid-adventures.com/main.html

We've been talking about a 4 day boat out and camp trip.  If anyone is interested in this trip, let me know as I'm looking for partners.  They have 4 Prowler 15's.  One is for the guide.  So that leaves 3 people per trip.  We talked about possibly doing Aialik Bay which is in Kenai Fjords National Park.  I've seen some pictures from some monster lings they've pulled up from there.

Here's a nice pictorial I came across on the web ... http://www.neilmoomey.com/trips/2002_Aialik_Bay/ It is of some guys that a took a trip out there to camp and fish.  Breathtaking scenery!!!

Polepole,

If the total cost can come in under about $1000-$1200 per head, and especially if the trip can utilize some weekend days and/or holidays, I really think I want in.  Self guided works for me.  Or guided too. again, depending on total cost.

I remember last year when your proposed trip to Ketchikan filled up in just hours... I hope I can get in under the wire on this one.  Seriously, I think I'd be up for this one.

If at first you don't succeed....  maybe skydiving is just not for you.

Prices are in a state of flux.  But here is what I can tell you.  A boat ferry runs $320 a person, but Liquid Adventure may have their own boat next year and this price is subject to change.  Guide services run $400 a day split between 3 people, maybe a bit more if we need more gear provided depending on what we bring ourselves.  So that gives you a bit of guidance on the rough charges ... again, it may change a bit.  Flights are extra.  I'll post more on costs as we work out some more details.  I'd like to see what interest there is here before opening this trip up other boards so let me know ... we have a bit of time so let me know if you're interested and I'll keep you in the loop.
