Tilly Bay on Sunday

Hi,

the tides and the weather look pretty good for rock fishing on the south jetty on Tilly Bay.  Anyone interested?  I have two people so far.  the more the better unless you all see something we don't.

I agree that conditions look good.
By chance I am invited to do some crabbing from a power boat in Tillamook Bay on Sunday. Otherwise I for sure had been interested. We probably won't go past Crab Harbor. If we do make it to the South Jetty however, then I'll stop by to say hi and see how the fishing is!

I’m fighting a head cold and aches curtesy of my granddaughter. I’ll see how I feel tomorrow. If the aches are gone I’m in.

Since I was sick I haven’t been looking at tides....BUT.....
  Sunday the 3rd shows LOW tide of 4:29 am so unless you plan to launch at 2:30 am you’ll be fight an outbound tide till 5:14 PM! That is IF you can run the narrows on an inbound tide,which I doubt.

HIGH tide is at 10:00 am

Launch 2 hours or more BEFORE a LOW tide in the AM 

Yep, I see that now.  Thanks Mojo.  Well maybe I will go hit the Wilson River instead.  Too bad, was up for some Tilly!

Crabbing (from a boat) was excellent with easy limits. However, it was chilly and windy. So even if the tides had cooperated it surely had not been the best day to be out on a kayak.

Thank for the report.  We ended up going to the Multnomah Channel.  Had a couple hours of no wind.  It was nice, no fish though.

That looks WAY better  I’ll kerp an eye on the forecast and if I’m feeling better I’ll demothball my gear.

I might be interested if depoe bay doesn't work out Saturday.

Ok I’m feeling a bit better, turned out we caught the flu from our granddaughter. Looking like I’ll be in for Sunday. Gotta get my gear all prepped still, I’ll get on that tomorrow.
   Can anyone  spare some crab bait? I haven’t fished this year and since the move we no longer have a bait freezer.

My kid KiLLERclownfish will be joining us on Sunday.

I have extra crab bait for ya.  No worries.  I'm  going to load the trap!
