Just thought I'd share.  I've got this spot by the side of the garage that's basically wasted space.  Used some old 2x4 leftovers (hence all the random pocket holes, unrelated) and made a couple brackets just big enough to store the paddles in there.  Ten minutes, zero dollars.
Kayaking without wearing a PFD is like drunk driving.  You can get away with it for a while, but eventually someone dies.
