If work didn't require me to have a smart phone with secure email I'd be in your boat.  Sometimes I really do miss my small little old school flip phone :-(

I like my 30 dollar phone bill the most, to go along with my 30 dollar cable  bill because i just have internet no paid TV programming. I do have a nice 42 inch plasma monitor now...

I wish you could get decently fast broadband in salem for $30 a month.  24mb connection it's $60 here in salem without tv.  Beats paying $90 though with crappy tv.  But who needs tv service when you have an htpc with netflix, hulu, and 400 stored movies lol.  Leaves more money for new fishing gear.

I get 14 mbps for 29.95 and i own my modem,  i'm not complaining. I'm a Netflix junkie, never watched an episode of LOST on TV..watched the whole series in like two months  on NF, it was like a real long movie

You know, there's an app for that.    ;D

I did the same thing with Lost on NF. Except we watched it 3 disks at a time through the last season. It was me and my wife's guilty pleasure. We ALWAYS ended up with  burning eyes, a TV headache, and mad because we'd stayed up all night watching that foolishness and because the next disk wasn't there yet.  ;D

The problem with Netflix's streaming service is that the next episode is always right there waiting to be played.
