Hello all,

Picked up an entry level angling kayak a couple of years ago so that I may get to fish places other than the bank (where I have been all my life), and just to recreate with the family. Been to a couple of lakes near MT Hood for rainbows and trolled the Willamette with decent success for smallmouth. Got excited about fishing with a pedal drive, earlier this year, after talking with a friend that fishes the San Joaquin Delta. His got a Native Titan 10.5 and loves his boat.  I basically was looking for the lowest cost pedal drive system that was on the market. Had my eye on the Perception Pescador Pilot. Almost pulled the trigger on one, until browsing around town and came across the Liquid Logic Manta Ray for a really good deal at Aldercreek. It's basically a Native Manta Ray without the rod holders and a couple of Rails along the side
So Far i've only been to Hagg Lake a couple of times working on some techniques, I learned from the forum while lurking. As my budget permits I will be looking to upgrade to my tackle box,  so that I may be able to fish more species, and add more upgrades to the kayak. Hopefully work and learn my way into a tourney or 2.
Definitely looking to learn more from everyone.

I'm at Hagg almost weekly due to the proximity. Post up or shoot me a PM if you're looking for company out there. I'm usually fishing for bass.

Welcome TBKD 4 is a good starter salt water introduction and a real fun after party with a great group of addicted yak anglers to chat with.

Thanks for the Welcome!
I looked into the TBKD 4 and that is going to be the same week out of town relatives were going to be staying with us. So my fishing is limited to non-existent for a week or so. I also don't have the proper ocean gear to be out just yet.

I'll take you up on your offer Hydrocepahalic on Hagg Lake. Always looking for company and fishing tips.
