First run out of Kodiak...less than 20 minutes from our new house (versus at least a 2-hour drive to get to semi-productive waters in South Central). Went in search of halibut, but got distracted by all the silvers jumping around. Ended up with a limit (biggest ones I've ever caught) and a limit black rocks. Caught and released a few respectable lings as well. Hardest part was the drag down and back up the beach. Seriously need to upgrade my C-Tug with beach tires...upgrade kit is supposed to be on the way.
