in the market for a hobie?

I happened to pass by Ballard inflatable boat company (in Seattle) and they are getting out of the kayak business. 25% off all hobie models that they have in stock.. I saw maybe three revolutions, a few outbacks, and one pro angler. as well as a few paddle models. one staff member said the boats were going to auction at the end of the month but wouldn't give any details.

Sinker:
That would have been awesome about 3 months ago!

I guess the addition of sales tax and driving would have made it about a wash for me coming from PDX though.

*edit: you also get an extra 4% if you pay cash or check or maybe it was 4% less if you payed with card.. ??? I don't recall

Zee:
Don't forget guys it pays to buy local. Other than the good karma snuggie of supporting a local shop, when you need to get it serviced it needs to go back to the store you bought it from. Plus building the kayak fishing scene in your hood is always great too!

[WR]:
Without calling the shop, anyone kno how long the sale is going to last? I hope to be back there before it closes out.
