Finally got to go halibut fishing last Saturday. Got this beast that measured out to be just over 51 inches. About 65 lbs.

Right on!!!! Just missed you by a day, but I had a buddy down there still that told me a nice fish was caught. Good job :)

There we go. Nice fish, man! Good to see some big ones are being caught out of WG. It's such an investment of time to go down there when so few decent fish are being caught.

Nice catch Lawngjohn. A fish like that will "make the season" for most anglers let alone a kayak accomplishment. That will keep you in fish n chips all winter.
