Nice and calm, hardly any wind basically had place to myself. Between the outgoing tidal change and the river's flow wasn't able to get along the jetty's like I wanted to, but still managed a nice load of surfperch and one barely legal lingcod. I'm loving the saltwater, but being cautious with my little Sportsman 106, its not really designed for big ocean places. Need to find myself another low "intensity" saltwater spot to add some variety to my fishing.

excellent, with crabbing closed, I'm not surprised you didn't see many boats out.
the submerged jetty in lower CoosBay is another location to consider, it gets some big lingcod in the winter and 'legals' most the year, plus good crabbing when that is open. watch the wind and be careful during strong tides but other than that, easy peasy.

Nice fish, I was told if you ever so slightly trim/edit your photo on your phone it should turn them the right direction. It worked for me when I post photos, I have an iphone not sure if that matters.
