Awesome job sir. We really appreciate your efforts!
I'd also like to say to everyone, should you find yourself talking to any sort of tackle or gear manufacturer or sellers, perhaps politely inquire if they'd care to make a donation. Tell them how our events benefit several charities, and that it'd be some great free advertising for their product.
If ya find someone willing, just direct em to Drifter.
I was able to recruit a couple sponsors last year, and three so far this year.

I had a great call with Bob yesterday. One question that came up is the audience for the webinar. The sky's the limit in terms of subject matter. We're wondering if we should cater the webinar to folks who are interested in getting into kayak fishing, or move into more advanced topics for those who already have some kayak fishing experience.
Most folks here are seasoned kayak anglers, but I'll ask anyway: what topics would you like us to cover in this webinar? Some topics that come to mind include: how to read surf forecasts for beach launching. How to approach new water/species/identify potential launch sites. Lingcod fishing. Ocean salmon fishing. Coastal estuary salmon fishing.
I appreciate your thoughts!

Well, because I completely suck at estuary salmon fishing, I would like that. Maybe, more specifically how to find good locations that may be outside of the herd of boats.
Surf launching I think is important to most of us

I think any new or experienced kayak angler would benefit from you talking about what you look for when picking an area to fish, whether it be lingcod or salmon in the bay/ocean. Recommended methods for various areas and if the tide plays into the decision. Depending on the timing for the discussion, the herring fishery could be a good topic.

Awesome, thanks for the feedback guys!

Hi, I’m having a heck of a time trying to sign up for AOTY. The last time I participated was about 8 years ago. Due to landslides, moving and surgeries, I’ve been out of the Kayak fishing game. I sent an email reply to bateves and have tried but can’t for the life of me remember my username. I also tried to set up a new account with a different email and user name. Any help would be appreciated. Wayne
