Left the launch around 9.nets were flying everywhere. I hooked up on my first pass in the wind and rain.nice bright fish after a botched net job.got back going and turned to head back up river and tap tap smack! Second fish was a bulldog. Plus the wind was helping him till he was netted.got back trolling for a nook since I had my 2 coho.made another half pass and hooked another nice coho that alligator rolled her way from hook to flasher.about a 10 second fight total.lucky for her the limit wasn't 3.by then the wind was getting to bad to stay for nooks. the wind and rain sucked but the bite was hot so who cares.

Way to go! I've been hitting this fishery every 3 or 4 days from the powerboat and yak. Its just amazing but the number of boats definitely jumped after the article about it in the Columbian. I'm betting it will still be kicking out fish thru turkey day.

I got out early Saturday morning on my Mini-x. Had my limit by 11. A friend of mine who was in the circus at the mouth (man, that sounds bad) said that he and his friends only caught two between the three of them. I'm going to take my father-in-law out on Tuesday. Eggs seemed to do the trick. They were bright and fiesty!
