I donated $100 to put someone in a kayak for a day.

Thanks Lee! Did you by chance specify NWEST Chapter or Portland Chapter?

I thought NW but it might have been the general fund (got ahead of myself), I got an email back from a guy in TX, are you guys Portland or NW? I'll happily donate monthly and can specify whichever (or pm me your chapter's paypal and I can setup a recurring payment), such an amazing program I'd never heard of....

We are NW but either is great. We're all doing the same thing. But for the funds to get used by either chapter, the donation needs to be specified. Thanks so much for your support.

Would you be interested in coming out and being a fishing guide at one of our events as well?

I'd help any way I can but I don't have a SOT kayak, just a recreational tandem. But I guess I could bait hooks and find fish  ;D

As I have found from attending a few events help is always needed on the ground as well. And it's for a great group of people as well as with a great group of volunteers.

As always I am extremely humbled by the generosity of the people on this site.
I will be there also. Will bring as many kayaks as I can. Count me in for beach duty.

My trailer, revo, and tarpon, and available to lend, not counting the other HOW boats Steve plans on bringing. I'll chat with him later today and try and get an estimated boat count. We can also lend waders, tops, boots, etc.

Dino-
Is it safe to assume you need extra PFDs, paddles, tops, rods, nets, etc?
