I and my family are moving to Post Falls next month and would like to get local information about the area. Are there any kayak groups in the area? The Alaska group is pretty busy and growing rapidly but the Idaho group on this board seems to be not vocal. I have fished in Alaska for almost 6 decades and 4 plus years in a Slayer 13 mostly in the salt water. I need some recommendations for gear and kayaks. I am going to fish in Alaska next spring into summer but hope to be fishing on the Spokane and Lake Cda by the end of August this year.

I will be living feet away from the Spokane.

reelmccoy lives in the area you are moving to and may respond to your post. I responded to your email. Lets get together when you arrive in the area, I live in CDA.

Idaho Brit,Thanks for the message. I have a place to start when I get to Idaho. I am missing the fishing here this year getting my move accomplished but I am happy that I have months left to fish in Idaho.

For some reason a lot of the Idaho clubs have migrated to facebook group pages.  You might want to search there, though there are a few of us still hanging around here. (But I'm down south of you).
