North Vancouver/Ambleside 2018

Hey, not bad. I read somewhere that apparently the English made their fish and chips with those back in the early 1900s. Might actually make a good dinner.

Went fishing this morning - 5 dogfish again, no salmon.

Is anyone planning on heading out this coming Saturday or Sunday morning?

Sunday morning, first light

I will be out as well. But can't get out at first light though. Probably Sunday around 2pm. Get me a shout if you see grey hobie. 

@ Yak Fisher: Great,  I will aim to be on the water at 1st light on Sunday. I will look out for you. Come say hi if you see me.

@Dammit: I will be off the water by that time.

Hopefully soon I  will be able to test the water's at ambleside. Looking forward to meeting other kayak anglers in the Vancouver area. The comute from the wack to ambleside shouldn't be too bad at the early hours of the day. Good Luck out there!

I will be in grey Hobie kayak, red long sleeve shirt.

I'll plan to be out, probably mid morning by the time I drive from Abby. Looks like high slack is 2:44pm, so that's nice. Yellow hobie revo.

Although I didn't see anyone last time, hope all of you had fun.
I will plan to head out on Friday, sunday at first light.
Possibly Monday as well.

Dbam. I saw you coming out of parking. Guess I got there too late.

I won't be able to make it out this weekend.
I have heard reports that the coho are being to stack up.
Perhaps try smaller baits such as maraboo jigs and spinners?
