After I cut the gills, I had to lap the fish and peddle like hell to get out of the way of a barge.

Went 0:2 on Sun, 0:1 today. I dont like those ratios. I was trolling a 360 flasher with 3.5 spinner and from my experience it can be tough to get the fish to stick with that setup.

I was at the mouth of the Klickitat today. If you have fished there, you know about the monster size sturgeon that patrol that stretch of water and often go airborne. Well today one BIG fish went airborne and landed on the bow of my kayak! OMG it was awesome! I got alot of laughs and stares by those assholes in powerboats but I dont care. One of those - wish I had a go-pro moments.

Freakin' awesome dude. Monster sturgies leaping onto kayaks!  :o

Are you using one of those breakaway systems with the 360 flasher? I've heard arguments both for and against the breakaway systems. I've never fished the 360s myself.

I have not tried the breakaway system for the 360s. As of now I'm not thinking it would help but I could be convinced if others argue for it. I am gonna put a super fine edge on my hooks and go back out tmr AM. 6000+ fish going over Bonneville a day!

You’re not the only one with less than ideal landing ratios up there this season. Try running a stinger hook off the back of that spinner. Well done Nels!

I will be your witness, that just fish blood.

Nice Job, I rather see blood on my feet than no fish in my yak.
