Smokehouse sent a Smoker Box and some pellets to the BCS prize table. Smokehouse makes electric, gas, and cold smokers, pellets, spice kits and many other accessories that you may need to process your catch. Their Chief smoker line is one of the most popular smokers for ease of use and durability. I started with one of these smokers years ago and still have two that I use regularly.

PRO-CURE is back with a prize donation for the BCS in 2022. Their bait scents are super effective for any species you may be chasing. They offer species specific flavors for many different fish but don't be afraid to mix and match for a unique combo or even something completely off the wall. Bloody Tuna for Crappie? Maybe...

Find the Scentsy for anglers at https://pro-cure.com/

The prize includes Leech, Anise Plus, Minnow, and Crappie and Panfish.

I can vouch for the Crappie and Panfish.

Thank you Annette for the sweet donation, love the local support!

Sawyer sent a great little prize package to the BCS this year. They make a wide range of outdoor gear ranging from first aid to insect repellents to personal water filtration systems.

You can find their products in most local stores and shops or online at https://www.sawyer.com/

Prize includes insect repellents for a few different applications and some of their sun screen. This would be a very useful prize with tick season upon us.

Thank you for the donation Megan!

Happy to have ICEMULE joining the BCS 7 in 2022. ICEMULE has been producing quality soft sided coolers since 2014 and continues to expand their offerings every year. This is a great company that helps out many charities every year has supported the us from the beginning.

The donation is for a Classic Medium 15L Cooler in Blue found here https://icemulecoolers.com/products/the-icemule-classic-medium

The design creates a layer of air between the ice in the cooler and the outside environment. This insulation works well and will keep drinks and fish cold all day. I am still using a Catch Cooler I got 5 years ago without any problems aside from a stray lingcod tooth every once in a while.

Find their entire line of coolers here https://icemulecoolers.com/

Thank you for the great donation James and Kelly. Much appreciated.

Mack's Lure sent a box full of their gear as well as 3 gift certificates for $100 each to the BCS 7.

Mack's lures works off of their flagship lure the Wedding Ring. This lure has a place in every tackle box because it will catch many species of fish in most conditions. Use it right out of the package or customize for your personal preference. You can't go wrong with these lures.

Mack's gear is a staple for trout and kokanee fishing but they are breaking out into other species in a big way. Their walleye trolling lures accounts for a huge amount of tacos and their Sonic Baitfish Spoons are doing damage to crappie and perch. As an added bonus, all of their lures are well suited to be used off of kayaks.

We will again be doing a Mack's Lure challenge during the tournament. The angler that catches the largest points fish using Mack's gear will get a special prize. Just take and submit a pic with the fish, Mack's gear, and event identifier. You can use any provided or personal Mack's gear to enter this challenge and there is no additional buy in.

If you have any questions about their gear, there will be a couple Mack's pro staffers at the event that would be happy to answer any questions.

Find Mack's Lure gear at most local sporting good shops or online at https://mackslure.com/

Thank you Britton and Bob for the awesome local donation.

Super stoked to have Work Sharp back as a sponsor for the BCS 7. What can I say, this Ashland based company makes some of the best electric and manual sharpeners on the market.

I use mine constantly to put an edge on every blade in the house and tool shed if needed. These sharpeners are built tough and are easy to use. Even I can do it!

Along with their classic sharpeners, they have added a few new products to their line up that addresses more specific sharpening needs.

Check out all of their products here https://www.worksharptools.com/

The donation includes a WS Knife and Tool Sharpener MK2 https://www.worksharptools.com/shop/sharpeners/powered/knife-tool-sharpener-mk2/

and a Manual Guided Sharpening System https://www.worksharptools.com/shop/sharpeners/manual/guided-field-sharpener/

Thank you for the continued support Heather.

Malone Auto Racks will again be a sponsor for the BCS.

Malone has everything you need to transport and store your kayak. Racks, carriers, storage systems, and even trailers may be found at their site https://maloneautoracks.com/ The more you poke around their site, the more quality gear you will find.

They sent one heavy duty Malone Wide Trak oversized Canoe and Kayak Cart https://maloneautoracks.com/WideTrak-TM-ATB-Large-Kayak-Canoe-Cart-with-no-flat-tires-bunks.html
This one looks like a beast!

Also in the donation were 5 each of their 18" and 25" Rack Pads https://maloneautoracks.com/SUP-Surf-Carriers/

These pads are perfect for SUP's and surfboards but can be configured to use for kayaks in many ways.

Adventure Canopies is a new sponsor and sent a sweet set up to the BCS this year.

Canopies are under utilized here in the PNW due to the wind constantly blowing but I think there are certain times and situations that they would really come in handy. In the heat of Summer there can be many days where I'm out fishing in the heat with no wind at all. These canopies are made for for these situations and work perfectly to keep you cool and the sunburns to a minimum.

I think there is another great use for canopies.

After fishing some bass tournaments last year I found that a canopy would have been super helpful during events as well. Fishing tournaments are a 50/50 game. Catching fish and taking pictures. They don't call me the DQ king for nothing! :D I fished two tournaments last year where it rained the entire time I was on the water. I had so much trouble getting my touch screen to work that I lost a lot of time messing with pictures. I could use a towel or napkin only once and it would be done for the day. Canopy cover while taking pix would have been awesome. The other advantage of taking pix under a canopy is that it would cut down on sun glare that sometimes cause havoc to TD's when trying to approve a fish.

I have not tried fishing with a canopy deployed so I cannot say for sure if it will work and this is the main reason why I reached out to a canopy company for a prize this year. A first hand report is the best way to find out.

The donation is an Adventure Canopies Snook Pro XL model https://adventurecanopies.com/kayak-canopy-store/snook-pro-xl/

Visit their online site to see everything they have to offer at https://adventurecanopies.com/

Matthew wanted to let the winner of this prize they will have his full product support and can easily be reached through the site. Thank you for the great donation.

Immersion Research is a new BCS sponsor for 2022. This company has been in the kayaking business for a long time and really know their gear. Whether it's negotiating some serious rapids or a leisure afternoon paddle, Immersion Research carries everything you will need to hit the water.

Along with a huge selection of gear, they also offer support information, rentals, and even a repair shop that will work on any brand you may have issues with.

They have a great online shop to search through https://immersionresearch.com/ or I believe their Hood River shop is still open so you can check them out there as well.

These guys went all out to send a great prize pack. Included are 2 of their Saw Briar Waders. One in Large and one in XL. https://immersionresearch.com/collections/paddling-pants/products/saw-briar-waders

These look like they are very well crafted and durable. This would be a great option if you are looking change up your  full dry suit to a two separate pieces for more flexibility of if you kayak fish in areas where you need to wade a lot.

They also sent a sweet hoodie for a lucky angler to win. Size on this is a large https://immersionresearch.com/collections/hoodies/products/mens-highwater-hoodie

Thank you for the generous donation Max!

I guess we are having a raffle!

Orion Coolers sent a sweet 35 qt cooler to the BCS 7 with one stipulation. The cooler must be raffled. No problem! We'll go through and find some other great gear to raffle off along with the cooler.

Orion is part of the Jackson Kayak family and are made in the same factory utilizing the same technology and skilled craftsmen and women. These coolers are built rugged and are durable enough for a life time of use. As kayak anglers, you will also appreciate the accessories and gear that go along with these coolers.

Find your next and last cooler at https://jacksonkayak.com/orion-coolers/

Thank your for the awesome donation Will.

Lunkerhunt sent a great donation to the BCS for 2022. If there were lures that I would throw just because they look fun to use, these would be the ones I would pick.

As an added bonus they will entice true lunkers to smack theses unique lures. No matter what pattern you are looking for, Lunkerhunt has you covered. I spent waaaayyy too much time looking around their site https://lunkerhunt.com/ because they offer so many types of lures. Finesse baits, cranks, blades, and every kind of creature that a bass will take a whack at is in their line up. So Fun!

Thank you for the support Lunkerhunt.
