I have been watching Jed post up sponsor after sponsor and realized I should make an AOTY Sponsors thread.

I will keep my posts shorter and let the sponsors speak for themselves.

I will start off with the ever faithful Next Adventure!

Next Adventure Paddle Sports have been the premier sponsor of this tournament since before I had even heard of Angler of the Year!

Check them out and say Thank you to CJ and the crew at:

www.nextadventure.net

They don't only have a catchy name, but whatever your Next Adventure is, you can find the gear for it at Next Adventure!

YakAttack had also been a sponsor of AOTY for many years.

If you think of an accessory that you need for your kayak, you can probably find it at YakAttack!

Click on over to www.yakattack.us

You may also want to show their website to your significant other as they have a bunch of great gift ideas.

I had never heard of Lancer jigs until my 1st ORC in 2017. Tony and Terry were there and had Lancer's for sale as well as in each Captains bag. I decided to start fishing with a black and silver 4 oz. Lancer. I was so impressed with how well they catch fish that I have never gone out on the ocean after bottom fish without them since then!

You can check them out on Facebook or go to www.lancerjigs.com

Big Hammer swimbaits has been a generous sponsor of AOTY since before my time here. They make great swimbaits with their signature square tail. The tail gives them an impressive "Kick". They are soft, durable, and they simply catch fish!

You can order yours at www.swimbait.com

One of my favorite additions that I have been able to find is Pitbull Tackle! They are sponsoring for the 2nd time in 2022. If you haven't checked out their gear, you are missing out! The produce a wide variety of tackle. I really like the Bora Jig a lot, and the dead fall jig has been slaying Rockfish for me on a regular basis. I will eventually catch a halibut on The Killer Jig.

If you like to fish the Pacific Ocean then you really owe it to yourself to check them out! You won't be disappointed!

If you dabble in the fly fishing category of AOTY then this sponsor will be of great importance to you!

Moonshine Rod Co. Is sending us one of their beautifully well designed and built fly rods! Only high quality components go into their small batch fly rods, and the attention to detail is very apparent!

Check out their variety of fly rods at
www.moonshinerods.com

Say hi to Tate Cunningham and the rest of the team, and be sure to thank them for their generous donations!

Bonehead Tackle is a new sponsor this year and they sent a very generous amount of Crappie jigs that will be awarded this year. They look really good, and I can't wait to try them out.

At www.boneheadtackle.com they say they make the most durable crappie plastics in the industry!

Anyone who participates in AOTY and enters the Brownlee Crappie Shootout will get to have an advance opportunity to try these out.

Mack's Lure is one of the most popular names in west coast fishing tackle. I am happy to have them as one of our great sponsors! They always send a large supply of lures and flashers to be distributed as well as gift certificates to build onto some of the higher placing prize packages.

You can find Mack's Lure at any tackle store or online at www.mackslure.com

Please say thank you and share some love for all of our great sponsors!

We have 2 fishing guides that have donated fishing trips to the prize pool.

Instinct Outdoors has given us a trip in his drift boat for fall Salmon on one of the Oregon Coastal rivers. You can find Mike Peacock who owns Instinct Outdoors on Facebook or you can get a hold of him at (541) 272-0289.

Fisherman Mike's Guide Service has given up a seat in his drift boat, where he specializes in fishing the North Santiam River.
You can look him up at
www.fishermanmikes.com
You can also contact Mike Ferris at (971) 273-3422.

I think guided trips make an awesome prize! It appears we will have these two trips which will mean that I will finish in 3rd place.

Here is another one for the fly fishing category.

Cheeky Fishing has again signed up to sponsor AOTY! I am going to use the opening sentence from their website.

"Cheeky Fishing has a high-quality (and dare we say) sexy reel for every stage in an angler’s journey, "

Check them out and say thanks at www.cheekyfishing.com

Last year they sent a nice pre loaded reel that was paired up with the Moonshine rod as the grand prize for the fly category.

Good luck to all you fly fisherman!

Dude, you're doing great on the sponsors! As the person who used to try to get sponsors on board and develop good relationships so that they'd keep sponsoring year after year I have to say it represents a lot of intentional, consistent work to make that happen. Thank you so much for all of us and for HOW!

I really need to get working on my fly points this year...
