Is there anyone that has ever fished the mouth of Eagle Creek right above bonneville? I was curious about what the conditions are like there and if it is dangerous to be that close to the dam. I was thinking about going to fish it but just wanted to see if there was anyone could help because I can't find anything online.

Thanks!

There is an area around it hat is considered a haven for fish during a particular part of the salmon season to save them from the warmer water of the Columbia during the fall season, but just outside of that area, I believe you can fish it.

Check out page 5 on the link: https://www.dfw.state.or.us/fish/OSCRP/CRM/docs/2024/2024%20Columbia%20River%20summer-fall%20regulations.pdf
