Hey my fellow brother and sisters, new to the board but not new to kayak fishing. I live in Salinas California and im an avid NCKA member! ( Nor Cal Kayak Anglers) sister site. I am heading to Weiser Idaho to stay with the inlaws for A week and want to know if anyone is familiar with the area. Ive fished the snake river on the boarder of Oregon and Idaho but havent ventured to many other places. We are going to the sawtooth national forest to fish the Payett river for two days any tips on what to bring? Any info would be great!!!

Theresa and I would love to get together with you, but that's about a 6 hour drive from our place up in Hayden, Id. If you're ever up in the Coeur d'Alene or Spokane area we could get you out on some of the lakes around here.

Why are you headed up to Idaho? With that WSB bite down there I can't imagine the fishing up here will compare! I just caught my first steelhead the other day, which was awesome, but the fishing up here just can't compare to the big fish back in California.
Formerly of NCKA and missing the days of fishing Bean Hollow!
