Not kayak fishing related, but only because it's a monsoon outside right now.

I've been in Bangalore for the past 1.5 weeks finishing up a project.  Yesterday I hopped a flight over to Goa to button up some work with a subcontractor over here.  I have a bit of free time and planned on exploring a bit to see if I couldn't get on the water.  Well ... you win some, and you lose some.

Pole, you really are a good person to live vicariously through! Thanks for the PICS!
Take Care in your travels Friend.
Hope to see you this summer on this side of the pond.

My bad ... I was told today that this is the pre-monsoon season and I haven't seen anything yet!!  Good thing I'm outta here in a couple days because apparently in July the skies open up for days on end.

Boxo ... I'm thinking about driving through your neck of the woods either the weekend before or the one after July 4th.  Hmmm, which of those weekends is the official July 4th weekend?  I'll try to avoid that weekend.  I have to drive a car up from San Jose to Seattle, so I think I might take the coastal route and fish my way up.  Let me know if one of those weekends works better for you though, and I'll see about planning it that way.

Polepole,

You may have answered this already in another string, but I'm curious.... what do you do for a living?  You seem to travel a bit!  Just curious because my wife travels a good bit too.  Cairo, Amsterdam, Taiwan so far this year.  She does Internet numbering for her company and is the chairperson for the American Registery of Internet Numbering.  The chairperson job is why she travels.

Jim,

I'm a chip designer.  I live in Seattle but am employed in the Bay Area.  Hence I hop back and forth regularly.  On my current project we have been outsourcing some jobs to a couple of companies in India, hence me reason for being here.  And in between all that, I just like to travel.  I have a hard time just staying put.

You can say that again! ;D You tire me out just hearing your travels! India looks nuts in that monsoon.. the surf looks like pretty good size. I bet there must be a few days before it hits where there's good surf. Glad to hear you made it through that POle!
