Some of my friends think I am crazy fishing in or diving from a kayak - IMO, what I do is tame compared to this . . .! What is up with reaching out and grabbing the dorsal fin????

From what I know of Salmon sharks they are actually quite timid and to get them to bite would be pretty tough. That being said da boyz fishing up there still got some brass ones. WTG PP, looks like an amazing experience.

What is up with reaching out and grabbing the dorsal fin????

OK.  So that shark was released and recovering on the surface.  It swam that way for quite a bit and didn't seem to mind the couple of times some of the guys grabbed its dorsal.  Probably shouldn't have been grabbing it ...
