Lake Stevens is slowly turning on for Kokanee. The water is still a bit cold, but the fish will bite. Landed 10 this morning, mostly between 30-40 feet down, but did catch fish as high as 7 feet and as deep as 50, and had one bite at 65.

Two downriggers! I'm impressed.  Did any of those crazy kokes ever tangle your fishing lines together?

So far in all of my fishing with 2 downriggers I've yet to tangle my lines. *knock on wood*

It's interesting that some see the video link and others don't (like me).  There have been other times when I've seen it and someone else doesn't.  Then usually, sometime later it appears.  Magic stuff...

That said, it would be nice to see the two downrigger setup.

On my phone, android of all things, says plug in not supported. You can look at my YouTube channel under JoshH if you want to see my set up.

Good stuff, I paddled around on Stevens last saturday while the snow was coming down.  Any general/community spots to know about?

On Stevens there are 2 general areas I like to fish. That day I was fishing from the north end of the lake to the south end, basically coming out of the city launch, once you hit deeper water, following the east shoreline staying in 80-100 feet of water, and pointed towards the county launch, then back. The other troll I like is again from the north end out of the city launch, find the 80 - 100 feet of water, then troll west following the north shoreline until you come to the general area of where the aerator was, then back. I've caught fish all over that lake though, but those are my 2 favorite trolling lanes. It's mainly finding the fish, then staying on top of them. I'll spin back over an area I just got bit on, and keep at that spot until I stop getting bit.
