Depoe/Fogarty tomorrow Feb. 12th?

(1/2) > >>

YakOnDaSea:
anyone thinking of braving the cold salt tomorrow?
seems like it could be doable with primary, secondary, and tertiary swells <2ft @ 10-15s and E winds?

also, I don't have much experience in winter bottom fishing.....are the fish less active when it's this cold?

Zach.Dennis:
where are you seeing that forecast?

NOAA has a different story

WED...E wind 10 to 15 kt with gusts up to 20 kt. Seas 4 to 6 ft.
Wave Detail: E 3 ft at 4 seconds and W 4 ft at 14 seconds.

those 4-6 ft wind waves sound like a washing machine.  It will be doable but may want to bring some Kwells/Dramamine  ;)

SD2OR:
Surfline shows doable swell, but windier than I'd go out in.

Seems the best bite has been shallower, 30-70 FOW.

YakOnDaSea:
thanks for the tip!
Surfline is showing <2ft but if NOAA is showing 4ft I'll have to rethink going.

Windy shows a pocket of lower winds from Depoe to Lincoln but not sure how likely that is given higher winds in other places.
