thanks to all for the great documentation of what was clearly a great time.
inspired and looking forward to more photos

Me too.

Any thoughts on doing it there again next year.  I really wish I could have made this one. It looked like it was a blast.

Just a few more from the day of the tourney.

Here are a couple of shots from the sunrise. Pelagic is pictured in both with that shiney new kayak of his!  ;)

After about 9 the wind shut off and it was greasy calm.

The only fish I took the time to take a pic of while on the water that day was this red irish lord. It ended up going about 14".

Here's a good one of the_tall_man with a brute of a greenling.

Heading in through the hole after 9 hours on the water!

This was my piggy of the day.

One of the other cabs I caught had a whole baby octopus in its belly and another had a whole, baby female dungeness inside that looked as if it was gobbled up just a few hours before I caught it. Both stomach dwellers were donated to the kids on the dock to use as trout bait!  ;D

A couple from that evening at the campground...

Man, looks like I missed a really good time. Big thanks to all the guys who made it happen and big ups to all the  people who hurled and went back out for more. Couldn't be happier to see it all go off so well. Congrats everyone!

Yeah I be alive. That last client I had was a monster. I did get my work rocking the Nasdaq & Reuters TV's at Times Square for all my effort. That was pretty cool.

Almost forgot. Big congrats to our winners especially Jammer for his ling/cabby combo. That Cabby is a pig!

I just saw these.  Super cool!  In that last picture, that's me turning around to take a picture of the other three: yakinitup, spot and...hmmm...txpaddler?  It's interesting to have two perspectives on the same moment in time.
