I'm offering a fine saltwater fly rod for sale.

ECHO E3s ti 909-4.  That's a 9'0" fly rod with an aluminum reel seat, a fighting butt, and all titanium line guides.  It has a faster medium-fast action - great flex in the top 1/3 of the rod and lots of muscle in the lower 2/3rds.  It's very sensitive to even light bites from tiny fish.

It's practically the ideal rod for anything lurking just off the coast of the Pacific Northwest.

It was ECHO's top-of-the-line rod when I bought it, it's been my salmon and saltwater fly rod for a few years, and I've enjoyed the heck out of fishing with it.

It's in fine condition.  At least a 9, probably a 9+, but I'm biased.  The cork is good; there are no scratches that I can see even wearing my reading glasses.

Why get rid of it?  I bought a different rod that I wasn't planning to use for salmon, but found that it's stiffer than this rod - trickier to cast - and it's plenty stout enough to be used for salmon and saltwater fish (if I ever get back out on the ocean).  I don't need two rods that can do the same thing, and since I can cast the newer rod...

If I remember correctly, this rod cost $480 new, but for a limited time, you could own it for the somewhat reasonable price of $10.00.  That's right ladies and gentlemen, ten whole U.S. dollars will get you this amazing fly rod.

We're basically splitting the cost Priority Mail to anywhere in the U.S.  If you live elsewhere, we'll split the price of getting it to you once we figure out what that'll cost.

Let me know if you're interested in joining the exciting world of saltwater fly-fishing and we'll make a deal.

I will buy it and treat it well. and I'm happy to cover the shipping cost or arrange for a hand-off in the CoosBay area?

My initial plans will be to use it for winter steelhead starting in January, so no hurry.  roger

PS- as I'm assuming a fly reel is not included, lol, any reason that a Lamson Liquid 9+ would not pair well with that rod?

No reason to ship it.  I'm sure we can do a hand-off - or I'll pester Scott to do it until he gives in.

The 9+ will work.  I've used a different Lamson reel with the same diameter.

I can't give you a line recommendation, Roger.  I can't remember the last time I cast the rod without using a Spey-like shooting line with a sink tip, but I have a couple of regular lines you can have.  One is a slow sinking, full intermediate line; the other is a never been used 8wt floating line that weighs a bit more than the 9wt line.  If you don't like them, someone will.

Take care.
