Great Article!!  I could feel the hair on the back of my neck stand up as I read it.  We don't have great whites up here...I don't think, but I have been reviewing a few of my videos and I am not sure I will be dangling my feet over the edge as often...especially while playing a salmon on the other end of the line.

We just had a sea lion attack a guy standing on a powerboat with his butt hanging over the railing.  I'm sure if they wanted to bth sea lions and great whites could do a similar amount of damage...ie death.

Thanks for writing that up Chris!

Good job Chris.  That's definitely not a story I'll be forgetting anytime soon; reading it really gets the blood pumping.

Wow. I'm not sure how composed I would have been in a situation like that. Great write up.

Anyone know of any great white sightings along the Washington coast?  You'd think Neah Bay/Hobuck would be prime waters...  A sea lion just about made me crap in my drysuit last year...not sure what kind of damage a great white would do.

I've heard, 1 confirmed sighting of a Great White in Washington waters. No attacks.

Assuming that confirmed means good photo, or identified by fisheries biologist - not a just a story.

Doesn't mean they aren't there, probably just shy.
