After the recent iCast and Outdoor Retailer (OR) tradeshows, we are swamped with a bunch of new and interesting products.  We'll be dribbling those out over the coming weeks.

Here are some interesting cell phone cases from Incipio ... http://www.kayakfishingmagazine.net/articles/325-in-the-news/1782-incipior-expands-ultra-rugged-waterproof-case-offerings.html

And an innovative multitool from Buck Knives, perfect for any kayak angler ... http://www.kayakfishingmagazine.net/gear-guide/91-new-kayak-gear/1781-buck-knives-splizzors.html

Kerplunk! We've all heard that sound before as we just lost a pair of pliers over board. Check 'em out, here's a plier/sheath combination that sports an integrated kevlar tether.

I suppose it's about time that we brush up on our manners and make some proper introductions. So...hi there. Come on into the KFM world headquarters and meet the four of us. "Four?" you ask. Yes, four. We've recently been fortunate enough to find a talented and passionate East Coast Editor by the name of Tony Hart. We couldn't be happier to have Tony join the team. Staff bios linked below.

KFM editor in chief, Allen Bushnell, leaves behind his salty home waters, and attempts his first run of a river. With possessions wet, broken, and lost, he learned valuable lessons and gained new friendships.

The Wilderness Systems Kayaks Ride 115X official press release. Also note the discussion of the Angler Packages available on all angler models, which includes mounts, rod holders, and flags from YakAttack. Good stuff.

MTI introduces High Vis colors to their popular Solaris and DIO kayak fishing PFD's. Many like high vis colors for their PFD's, while others like drab or camo type colors. Which do you use?

I spent the summer testing out Backwater Paddle Company's Assault Hand Paddle. I grew quite fond of the little war club. I think a few of you have also spent time with said paddle.  It'd be great if you headed over to KFM, signed up, and shared your own reviews.
