Thursday conditions are looking good at Pacific City.  A couple of us are headed out there, meeting at 7 am on the beach.

What’s the target for the day—rockfish and lingcod?

Yup that’s the plan.
Unless we hear that the salmon have come in really close.

I fished PC today. Caught lots of rockfish, quite a few small lings and a big cabezon, but couldn’t find keeper lings.

Sounds like the dories got a few salmon today, but not red hot.

I plan to be back out tomorrow morning.  If you have ever wanted to try catching rockfish on a fly, that was working good today.  Makes the rockfish way more fun.
