We have our first 2 events of 2019 posted and they are both sold out. We could use some volunteers for them.
The event dates are:
Saturday, March 23rd at Coffenbury Lake
Saturday, April 20th at Lost Lake
We need both on and off the water help.
Please go to Eventbrite and grab a volunteer ticket if you can make it out to help.
Thanks,
Your HOW-NOC Team

I am going to try to make the Lost Lake event as a volunteer. We are on a wait list for a room, will have to wait and see how that goes.

Ok, let us know. Thanks.

I have recruited my neighbor as a volunteer. He is recently relocated from the east coast where he kayak fished in Maryland. He is also a Marine Corps vet.
He'll be at Ft. Stevens event. Ray, can you put him down as a +1 for me please ?

Maybe I missed it somewhere, but who/what is the group that is having the events?

Its a group that takes veterans and active duty military and first responders and their families out for a free day of kayak fishing. We count on the folks on here to help out as on the water volunteer guides.

PM me if you want in.

Would love to assist but can't commit at this point in the game as work has been stupid busy with sliding timelines and weekend work. I'll have to play it week to week.

There's cabins at the Clatsop County Lost lake? Presuming it's this lake again https://goo.gl/maps/zyAoj2TRRPE2 and not the more commonly visited Lost lake near Mt Hood.

Lost lake on the coast range, west of Portland, near Sprice Run camp grounds........ NOT MT. HOOD!!!
-
My yurt reference was for the Ft. Stevens event.

The Ft. Stevens yurt is such a great place for event camping. Wish I could make it to the NOC events, but good luck guys!
