I can't log in from the area to the left, the "User Area".  The login times out instantly.  I can log in from the horizontal menu at the top of the page.

The problem's only been around for a few days, and I'm not having the same problem on NCKA.  Has something changed?

Whoa! Tinker is da man!  I hadn't been able to log into this forum from my home computer for several weeks, using the log in area on the left side of the screen which I had always used in the past.  I kept getting the "timed out" message.  I was able to log into this forum from the left side of the screen from my work computer, and I could log into the NCKA forum from the left side of the screen from both computers.  But I tried Tinker's suggestion, and discovered that I can log into this forum from my home computer from the login in the menu bar at the top of the screen.  Thanks, Tinker!

I hope that Tinker's discovery will help the administrators discover the cause of the problems with the log in area on the left side of the screen.

I navigate from the left side bar on two computers and my phone browser without trouble.  I have my settings to be always logged in, so it might only be a problem if you log out for whatever reason.

I automatically clear the browser cache every time I close the browser, crash, and that deletes the login cookie (logs me out).  I'm just paranoid, I guess.   :-[

It's not paranoia if they really are watching you  :glasses7:

I finally had some time to investigate this.  This should be fixed now.  Something changed in one of the recent forum software upgrades, so I needed to tweak some code to adjust.

Thank you, Allen.  Did you notice I didn't panic?  I figured you'd look into it when you had some spare time.  Appreciate it.
