Willow fishing this sunday

I plan on heading up to willow this sunday for a day of trout, char and pike fishing. There is quite a clump of lakes all with in a few miles of each other that offer up some nice fish once in awhile. And right now pike fishing can be pretty good too. Anyone is welcome to tag along or meet me up there. I plan on hitting Lynn lake first at about 2 p.m. Then maybe hop next door to honeybee (some huge rainbows in there) then if time or strength allows maybe put in at long lake for some pike and usually some big bows in there too.

Mind if I tag along with the AI?

Heck no! I'd like to see it. In fact during the evening there is always a good breeze on the lake usually between 5 and 10 pm. You might want to sail. The lake is fairly big.

I'll pm my number.  Sounds good to me, as I live in Wasilla.

What on earth kinda gear we need? Not fished lakes in YEARS...

Ive just been using a tiny dodger in size 4/0 and earth worms. Best thing I have found so far. But fly fishing dry flies should be good too. Haven't had as good of luck trolling spinners, spoons and flies. But with that worm and dodger set up its fish on every 5 minutes.

Sorry guys, but it looks Ike I'll stow my yak ins friend's sailboat and head to Ailalk Bay for Sun --?Tues fishing -- hope to find rockfish and lings and -- of course - salmon , by Tuesday... Reports to follow, should there be anything to report.

How long of a leader are you using behind the dodger? You eeem to have it dialed in pretty well.
