That's a nice fish. I want to try this fall when they go on their pre winter feeding binge.

That's a pretty decent Muskie Brad.

What is that big yellow thing in it's mouth ---- a duck lure ??? I've heard they eat duck.
Life is short---live it tall.

Be kinder than necessary--- everyone is fighting some kind of battle.

Sailors may be struck down at any time, in calm or in storm, but the sea does not do it for hate or spite.
She has no wrath to vent. Nor does she have a hand in kindness to extend.
She is merely there, immense, powerful, and indifferent

Very cool Brad!
I live very close to a lake where IF&G put in Tiger Muskies to reduce and improve crappie fishing.
Each year the f&g change the length for taking.
Here the fish must be over 36 inches to remove.
I guard this fishery and rarely share what's happening.
One can see them swimming the surface with mouths open.
Ducklings are called good eatin'.
Our TM's are dark green/pale tan.

Thanks all.  It was a great fish that was on my bucket list for some time.  I plan on getting back down there again and "wasting more time" trying to catch one.  What I didn't tell you is that all three hookups came on the first day.  The next three trips I got skunked.  Great to see that these fish are protected - or at least until they reach 50".  I could kick myself for not fishing for them when they stocked Greenlake had them in there.  Those fish are all but died off by now.

The lure I'm using is a huge XRap Rapala.

Most of you probably saw this but a guy got the state record TM about a week ago http://www.yakimaherald.com/news/yhr/tuesday/2389355-8/rob-phillips-a-really-big-fish-story
