Did someone say "Brag"?...   ;D

I know I'm just on the southern edge of the "northwest", but I gotta keep you guys real!  I caught this bad boy on 9/11/06 at Shelter Cove trolling solo with a straight chovie on a double hook slip rig behind a dodger and a DeepSix.  38 pounds and just over 40" - it was short for its weight.

That's the OCEAN, not one or your little inland waterways up there!   ;)

Yeah, you do what you can with what you've got....

It's true, I'm just jealous that you guys get to fish salmon in the ocean.  It's my favorite yaktime.   :'(

Why so many odd typos ? You try typing on 6 mm virtual keys with 26 mm thumbs....

Edited the title as we'll try to keep a thread for each species.

Here's my chinook 27 pounds 15 oz. Not as pretty as Abbie's but she sure did fillet out nicely. Plus them eggs....

Hmmm ... the name of this board is the BIG Fish Brag Board, not the PRETTY LITTLE Fish Brag Board.   :hello:

Be careful about that kind of statement. The've just cancelled the entire remainder of the year on the Nehalem. At least there should be a few coho returning. I'm becoming highly skeptical of any prediction by ODFW.

Not a yak fish so it probably doesn't count. My biggest so far and I'm hoping to try out some salmonyakking around Eureka this Aug.
