I spent a few hours fishing with JonJon Tabon off Maui in late February. We brought home an African Pompano (gorgeous) and a Gray Snapper (delicious), but blew our shot on a GT ...broke off on the coral.

Nice conditions and catches. My wife and I went with Jonjon in 2012 but it was very rough and I had to bail after about an hour due to seasickness. My wife did jig up a nice omilu, though, while we were fishing for bait.
