Sockeyes on the Kenai!

Is it my imagination, ... or are these guys drawing a crowd. Nice work. Now that looks like serious fun!

Nice filming their Mark! Jammer might be too nice of a guy. That bar cleared out and I was trying to get his attention to take the spot, but he courteously let the others fish the easier spot and just kept on catching fish. 

Being a rookie with reds, he was doing what seemed to me as a wrong technique but everytime I thought about correcting him, he had a fish on!  So I just watched in amazement as he hooked fish after fish.

I got my limit too but seemed like the set up and technique were different. Lol. Learn something new everyday!

OK....better late then never. I'm finally getting a chance to post a couple fish pics from my Kenai River float with K_84 and Mark Collett 2 weeks ago. It was a day I will not soon forget. Thanks for all you guys did up there to get me out on the water and into some serious "reds". The 1st days limit alone added 30# of sockeye fillets to my freezer. Thanks again for all your help guys! I'll look forward to returning the favor someday soon..
