I'm coming up to the straits of Juan de Fuca to chase Halibut this weekend.  Friday afternoon/evening and all day on Sunday, I'll be heading out.  Backup for weather conditions is Lake Crescent.  Let me know if you can join in or have another suggestion.  Cheers!

I will be heading out Friday also in the Sekiu area. It is sharpening up to be one of the better halibut weather days this season has offered so far. Little to no wind and the current should also be little to none after about 2pm. Good luck out there! I hope you hook up.

Whelp,
Things didn't go exactly as planned but they did go ahead.  I did fish Sunday on the Strait and did limit out on rock fish with a decent blue ling to boot.  The halibut grounds were within site, but the winds were making me nervous, so I turned back with only a half mile to go.  Good lessons were learned and I still can't wait to fish area 4 for butts (or any other area for them too!).  Thanks for the concerns for the pooch.  He had a little emergency surgery and is getting back to his usual self.  Tight lines to all and hit me up to fish!
