volunteers requested: Summer Splash demo day

If you have some free time on Saturday June 1st we could use your help at the Next Adventure Summer Splash demo day. They need volunteers to hump kayaks and SUPs around, help people with their PFDs, and on the water safety. They're willing to give HOW some valuable store credit for your efforts. It's fun day, a good workout, and there's usually pizza for lunch.

There's no formal "commitment" necessary. If you can make it just let CJ know you are there as part of the HOW crew. Hope you can make it Barb. It's always nice to see you.

Giving this a bump. I got a message from NA saying they could use some additional safety kayakers on the water.

They are running 2 shifts.
8:00-12:30 or 12:30 to 5:00.

Looking for some basic Safety boaters as well as folks to move boats.  Kids are OK!  Lot of scout troops usually volunteer but this year we can use more help that seems available.

I can also promise you a sweet deal next time you need anything!

CJ - I'm free all day Saturday, and can do either shift and either job, although being on the water is my preference. Let me know where you need me most.
