Title: AK Rider - Back to the Beach !

Hi All -
Just a mid-winter check-in to see who (if anyone) is braving the ice and tsunamis down the peninsula this winter ? 

I am back in the good ol’ USA and here to stay, and have my gear out of storage, just need to check it all out and make sure I have and can find what I need...
... and then I will be watching for an excuse to get out or at least get ready for the spring.

Anyone doing the winter thing ?

Heya !   It’s been a year (or two?) since I ran into you on the beach.   I’m hoping to make 2019 a bit more salt-centered though, so hope to see you down the peninsula as the spring evolves.

I never did score one of those fine golf club harpoons.   Watched Kardinal’s fine ‘poon strike with your handiwork on that video about his Seward Halibut, and I’m jealous.

Let me know what favor I can swap you for one of those wicket little things !   

Spring and the spring kings and halibut cant come soon enough - empty freezer is driving me crazy!   

PS - for those keeping score I haven’t seen a bear since October, and that Grizzly was much farther north.   Maybe they’ve got the good sense to hole up for the winter, unlike me.
