I've been playing around with some footage from last summer lately and here's one I think you guys will enjoy.  I've always been a fan of self-deprecating humor.

It  took a few minutes trolling his Facebook page to find the right photo. He rarely seems to look to his left. He is the Derek Zoolander of Kayak fishing Pros.    Of course it may be because his camera is mounted on the right.

Ouch!  Rawk's video hurt, but then this thread just got more painful as it went on.

Hahaha...funny as long as you are safe and it didn't happen to me. 

It is a serious concern especially halibut fishing with the heavy weights.  I try to take the weight off as soon as I can.  I've seen guys knocked out cold while bottom bouncing kings in shallow water.  You get a strike, you instinctively rip back with 8 ft of line out and the guy behind you gets clobbered by an 8 oz weight.  I've seen quarter ounce weight do serious damage after coming unbuttoned from a screaming sockeye.

Kayak fishing offshore would be a terrible time to discover you have a horrible  case of amnesia. Better than flying a 747 though.
