nice, the Armor Plate is 1/2" thick, that would be easy to fab at home, I'm going to drill some new holes so I can get a pair of Scotty mounts on it instead of just one in the center.

the aluminum rudder looks great and would be much more work to fab myself, worth the cost for sure.

I installed mine and plan on giving it a go this weekend at Sunset Bay or in Coos Bay since the ocean isn't looking very good.

Wobbler fabbed up a beautiful replacement rudder for his Outback.  Way more surface area than the orignal, still stows like the original, and has a wing shaped cross section.   He tested it out on the Columbia River Salmon fishing at B-10 and his Outback turns on a dime.

Slightly off-topic but related to the original post: just want to say that I absolutely love the Yak-Attack Omega Pro rod holder. I'm on my 2nd season with it and there is nothing I don't love about it. Also, I have done a little trolling @ 10 ounces and a triangle flasher with the stock base on a GT90 Geartrac and it wasn't stressing it any more than any other heavy trolling I've done with other rod holders; the track seemed fine. (Just throwing that in there in case anyone is considering this rod holder on geartracs.)

There's a reason I am keeping my Omega ;) I just much prefer the Cannon on my homebrew "solid mount" for salmon trolling.
