No space at Fort Stevens, Kampers West so far....

Bud's campground has spots at this time, it's about 10 miles to Young's Bay.

See ya on the water..

We're working on the exact location but it will be inner Youngs Bay. Most likely near the Warrenton-Astoria Hwy bridge.

Currents are going to be mellow for the tourney. It's a trolling game so look at Spot's article for the rigging.

Prolly a lot of pb traffic around the bridge, since that's gonna be prime time for Buoy 10.

Some charts.  One is the east side of 101 (main tourney area), and one is the west (the one that says "Young's Bay").  Looks relatively shallow.  Depths are in feet.

It looks like the morning tide (6am) is going to be negative on the 21st
http://www.saltwatertides.com/cgi-local/oregon.cgi

which means that zone in the lower left hand corner of the satellite view Zee posted is going to be a big ass mud flat.  Which I guess will make finding the fish that much easier.

Yes it will be a -0.7 low at launch time which will concentrate fish in the deeper sections like Madoc posted. The tide will be flooding and then slacking until just before weigh in time so hopefully we'll get a big batch of chinook coming in and some great fishing conditions.
