Zee ... I can change to come back on Sunday if you want to carpool.  Or is the wife and kid coming and the car is full?

-Allen

That would work perfectly. The wife and kid are most likely not coming so let's plan to carpool it.

It seems like we are split between the county park and the RV park.  Are these close to each other?  And close to the launch?

According to Google Maps the RV park and County park are about 500 ft away from each other and the Pelican Brewery looks like it is between them on the other side of side of the street.

Absolutely! What kind of break is it? I've got my 9'2" for the mush and the 9' HP board for some more serious surf. Which would you recommend? Both?

The main peak out there can be handled on a cruiser.  The peaks just to the south are take off and pull in beachbreak wedges.  I only ride short boards on the later.

I'm going to do my best to try to make it out but right now it is still a bit up in the air.  Has there been any decision what time this will kick off on Saturday?  I'm hoping to be able to leave PDX on Friday and make a weekend of it but I may only have one day if anything works out.  I haven't been fishing in the ocean yet.  I got the idea in my head a couple of years ago when OPB did a story about kayak fishing in the ocean.  That being said, if no one has any objections to a competent paddler but gumby fishermen I'll do my best to be there.

How about kicking off at 1 hour before sunrise? Weigh in at 2PM?  Let me throw some rules together for this.  Kind of keeping it low key, but I have been told we will have a kayak as a prize.  That's still to be 100% verified, but I'm pretty sure it will happen.

No objections here regarding gumby showing up.   ;)

WOW! That's nuts. Nice work Pole! We also have other gear including stuff from RAM that will be in the raffle. If only 9 of us show up, the odds of getting some nice gear is pretty damn good. If you weren't planning on making this one, you might want to think again! ;)
