Ok we’re looking at fishing salmon season again, I know real tough to say yes to salmon  :spittake: ..... we got two dates with low tides in the am ...... Saturday September 5th low at 9:03 am and Saturday September 19th at 8:23 am. Personally I’m thinking the later day
“not the saints” is better as it puts us farther into the salmon run. But I’d like to get some other opinions on that....... so click on the reply button and type out your opinion, because in all honesty I really do want to know what the general, guys that know how to, or pretend to know how to fish .... think. so post up what you think ! I’ll get the donation request letters and everything buttoned up early enough this time to get us back in line with last year, we had a small turn out but the few that showed up had a freaking blast! At least they said they did!  ;D

It's pretty likely that I will be fishing for tuna in September, so count me out for salmon kayaking if you choose either of those dates.

Between those two dates, I would choose the 19th.  It has a bigger tide swing, but the timing is a little better.  Later in the month should be better and it would allow fishing for salmon through high slack and still have time to get to the weigh in.
Being retired, they pay me when I go fishing, therefore I am kind of a professional fisherman.

Looks like it will be the 19th, there’s a night market Friday the 4th so likely won’t be able to have it ready at 0600 Saturday.

Looks like our venue for the TBKD is a no go this year as the port has canceled all events.

Is it closed because of covid?  This virus has wrecked this whole darn year.

Not.  The weather closed the door, COVID-19 just locked it.
I expected the worst, but it was worse than I expected...
