Need us to bring anything?
Probably just bring your VHF to stay in contact with the other volunteers.

What is involved? Do you need extra kayaks and PFDs? Do we bring our own gear? I'm interested in helping but this is my first rodeo, so to speak.

Just bring gear for yourself and a VHF. You'll be asked to guide a couple of vets for the day. Really just give them some light instructions and let them loose. Also keep an eye on them and make sure they leave their pfds on and stay safe.

Hobies ok, we'll paddle if that is appropriate?

I'm going to meet up with Wobbler and peddle one of his many Hobies. See you out there.

So great to get out and see so many old and new friends. Great weather and awesome food. Thanks to all the volunteers and vets. Big shout out to Wobbler and Tanner for showing me how to catch a fish on my home waters...a 4" smallmouth!

Hope to see you all again on the water soon!

Thanks to everyone for coming out. Hopefully we can put together another trip with that group before the summer ends. Good seeing you back out on the water again Aytch.

Once again, another wonderful event by HOW!  The veterans seemed to really enjoy the day, the weather couldn't be beat, and another great group of volunteers made it all the better.

Again thank you Anthony!  And great seeing you out there Aytch.

Like Blue mentioned, it was great to finally have the stars line up and be able to attend and help out.

Tanner had a blast out there hanging with those vets.  Very nice guys for sure.

I could see it in their eyes and hear it in their voices how therapeutic being on a kayak fishing or not was for them.

Hopefully my work schedule allows me to attend future local HOW events.

Sorry I was bushed last night. I meant to include that it was awesome having John, Tanner, and yourself out there Craig.
