PM is for those that lack discussion in an open forum,  I see issues here, are you VETTED?

Whoa there Nelly! Where is this coming from?  Who cares if they're "VETTED" or not. These guys are doing a wonderful thing volunteering their time to participate in HOW. If you have issues take it offline and talk to Noah or Dino I'm sure they'll be able to answer your questions.
Cuz right now, you're sounding very much like a Negative Nancy.

Are you referring to whether the HOW guys or the participant is vetted?   Vetted as what? In what context? Paddling, therapy, service ?

Much thanks to Kevin and all our heroes for their service.  And thumbs up to the boys who put him on sturgeon.

This is fascinating.  I just looked thru SeaSlug's participation since he joined and his posts are quite normal.  He just went on a frickin' rampage last night.  So weird.

@rory - I noticed that same last night... I am choosing to believe the best and that he just "went off the rails" for some other reason.  We all do that sometimes... well, at least I have before...

I think there may be some confusion. This wasn't a real HOW outing. The goal of HOW is to let WW's connect with other WW's through kf.

This was just a group of guys that went fishing, and one of them happened to be a WW.

On officially sanctioned HOW events there will be more than one WW. As volunteers we were looking at this as a "dry run" to see if this type of outing could be a future HOW event and what was beneficial, and what type of equipment we would still need to procure.

So if it looked like we were a little volunteer heavy and a little light on Vets, we were. However, the swift moving and cold water present a number of challenges and official event or dry run, everybody's safety is always at the top of the checklist.

I'd like to think we're all forgiving people on here, but the dude owes Noah and Dino an apology.

No doubt.

I'd also love to know what he thinks of stand-up paddleboards.  :P :P

+2 - It's easy to lose it now and then and say things; however, it takes a bit more thought when 'putting pen to paper' so to speak and usually results in better tact.

Just my 2.
